Yo. Hugs. You do a great job. Babel and the others are great — Babel alone has allowed me to *enjoy* JS, so really, thank-you.

If I may offer advice on open source: it’s a thankless task, and you can’t make everyone happy. The happiest I have been in OSS is to write software exactly for my own use case. If other people use it, then great. If not, then great too.

I’ve even forked my own project once to get away from the needs of the community after making the mistake of trying to please everyone. That worked out well, I still use the software for hours every day, 7 years later.

Solved my own use case, forgot the haters, happy OSS maintainer.
